Creative director Demna is widely credited for reigniting the Balenciaga label. It's mostly thanks to his contemporary-cool footwear – such as the chunky Runner sneakers – that explains the brand's resurgence in popularity. Offering up a futuristic take on the eclectic ‘90s sneaker trend, the style features panels of nylon and mesh and an elevated sole for added interest.
